Dana Schechter - Motion Graphics/Animation Biography

A lifelong visual artist, Dana Schechter studied Fine Arts and Computer Arts in her hometown of San Francisco. After her studies she focused her visual skills as a specialist in Adobe After Effects, doing freelance Animation, Compositing, Design, and Motion Graphics, beginning an animation career that has continued for more that 12 years.

Dana moved to New York City in 1997, working in some of NYC’s best post production studios. Since 2004 she has spent time living/working in Berlin Germany; as of Spring 2008 she is based back in NYC. Her work with Animation and Visual Art takes her all across the globe, as does her Music/Composing work, in which she’s also very active.
